Manuka Honey Skin Cream
This natural eczema cream is based on a traditional recipe and made in small batches by hand. Manuka Honey Skin Cream is a surprisingly soft and creamy oil based balm, rather than a true water based cream. Organic active Manuka honey, known for its amazing healing powers, is combined with organic tree nut-free oils and beeswax to create a gentle nourishing balm that's excellent for healing open wounds and soothing irritated eczema flare-ups.
What is Active Manuka honey and Manuka Oil?
Active Manuka honey is native of New Zealand and is created when bees pollinate the manuka bush, a relative of the tea tree. Manuka oil is extracted from the leaves of the manuka bush. Manuka oil is actually 10 times more potent than tea tree oil. Manuka and tea tree oil are praised world wide for their ability to naturally treat infections and reduce inflammation. Unlike the very medicinal odor of tea tree oil, manuka oil and honey have a lovely delicately sweet scent. What else makes Active Manuka honey so incredible? It contains 1,000 times more methylglyoxal than other forms of honey. Methylglyoxal is what gives honey it's anti-bacterial properties and which makes honey so beneficial for eczema. In fact, results from a 2012 study by The Ithree Institute, University of Technology in Syndey Australia state Manuka honey..."shows promise as a topical antibacterial agent and effective chronic wound dressing," and "treatment with manuka honey resulted in a significant decrease in the bacterial cell growth rate," with specifically good results at reducing Staphylococcus aureus, also know as MRSA. Another similar study can be found here.
Benefits of Manuka Honey Skin Cream:
Organic Beeswax, Organic Olive Oil, Grape Seed Oil, Organic Active 16+ Manuka Honey, Manuka Oil Extract, and Filtered Water.
We advise trying the balm only on a small patch of skin at first to make sure your child doesn’t react. Any natural product on the market could contain an ingredient that won’t agree with your child’s skin. It’s best to be cautious when first using a moisturizer. We learned that lesson the hard way.
Also, always read the full ingredient list for any known irritants or allergies.

I like this cream because it goes on thick but doesn't leave too much a greasy feel. It's also very easy to apply, and it does appear to moisturize as well or better than anything else I've tried. It's not a miracle cream for us, but I do like it the best of all we have tried. It also doesn't sting when applied, which is a plus.

We have tried multiple creams on my son. He has had severe eczema since he has been 2 weeks old. This creamy balm works so great! A little goes a long way! Very gentle on the face. He does not even fuss when I am putting it on he just lays there for the most part. His eczema is not gone with this but has improved significantly!

A really nice cream, and we must have tried over 25 different creams and ointments of them by now. Just wish that it came in larger sizes. 2oz won't last us very long...

I love the natural ingredients, so happy I found a cream with Manuka Honey. I will be buying this again in the future. I am a adult female and will be using this for myself.

This is a great cream to use for any age. I use this in conjunction with the calendulis cream. My son does not mind it at all. He actually likes it better than the aquaphor(he is 3.5 years old and has suffered from severe eczema since 4 months old)- it makes his skin extremely soft and moist all day long. I apply it in the morning before school and at night after his bath- I put this on AFTER the calendulis cream which I highly recommend for anyone who suffers from eczema. The maluka cream does have a smell- not too bad and everytime I put it on my son, he giggles and says, 'what's that smell' with a smile!

This cream works so well in conjunction with the Calendulis Cream. It is thick at application, so a little goes a long way. But it melts on the skin, spreads easily, makes skin very soft all day.

I ordered this for my 4 year old grandson who has eczema. After one use the bright redness in it started to fade. After one week I am amazed. It doesn't make the eczema go away completely but it makes the bright red and itching go away. We have not been able to find anything this good. I have already ordered another jar.

I've tried countless creams. My daughter has moderate-severe eczema and this is the only cream (along with Calendulis) that her skin tolerates.
It's sticky and ruins clothes, but keeps her skin soft. I apply it 3 times a day on her whole body and up to 5 times a day on her face. A little nervous about her ingesting it (honey! and she's only 6 months) but no problems so far.
**Tip** If your child has bad hand eczema...rub this into their hands and then cover in one of the Scratch me knots before bed...clear in the morning!

I used this cream after I applied the Calendulis cream, it worked like a charm. Baby's legs were so scaly and dry for months no matter what creams I used. This cream helped make his legs soft again as baby's legs should be.
I will recommend it to anyone who needs help treating eczema on their baby.

It helps soothe my son's cheeks. Smells great and smoothes on easily.
