We've been struggling to find something that will stay on my 6 month old during the day while he has severe eczema outbreaks. We've tried various gloves and socks, but he is easily able to get them off easily. These mittens have been perfect - they stay on all day and night.

We haven't been able to use this much yet. My son can get out of it pretty easy but I think if we use it while he is in his car seat then it should work well. We'll see.

bought this for my daughter suffering from eczema who scratches her face at times when we just can't stop her (driving in the car, at night) ... these are perfect! only note is that they size small (even when washing and air drying). i'd buy 6 months larger. headed online to purchase another one for backup!

My 7 month old has terrible eczema on his head and face. He scratches til he bleeds. We've been limping along with socks/mittens and some homemade satin sleeves before I found these. Wow, what an improvement! I love ScratchMeNots! They protect my baby's poor face from his scratching. Plus, they're both cute and well-made.

Really, really good. Please sew the label at the bottom of the jacket and not the neck. Handy flip mitts - daughter wears them like clothes every day/every night. Can you move away from using white on the underside material? - would help it stay cleaner looking.
Had trouble shopping - wanted to buy different designs but only let me buy the same ones at the same time.

This product is a GODSEND!!! Our 19-month-old son has a super-itchy spot under his ear lobe that he scratches raw. It takes forever to heal. We were putting socks on his hands at night to minimize damage to his skin, but he would still break the skin on that spot. The satin on these mittens are GENIUS, as is the shrug-like design. His itchy spot is now healed, due to this product.
The only complaint I have about this product is that the opening for the arms is a little small. I ordered the size 2T first, based on our son's wingspan, but they ran a little long, and became loose after a few wears. The arm opening was perfect, though. In ordering two more pairs, I decided to order the size 18 mos., and found that the arm opening is a little tight, which makes it a bit cumbersome to get his arms in, which is why I am rating this product 4 instead of 5 stars.
I would still HIGHLY recommend this product to anyone whose child scratches his/her skin raw.

My sweet little 5 month old has terrible eczema and is always scratching herself. I kept socks on her hands but got tired of them coming off all day long. The silk over the hands is great because it doesn't chaff her face like other fabrics. I tell her she is the most stylish eczema baby in our town with her cute ScratchMeNot mittens.

We use these every night! My infant daughter likes to suck on her fingers, to the point where they were getting cracked and raw. These are a comfortable solution because she sucks on the cloth instead but it is rare that her fingers get wet inside the mitts, so her hands have really cleared up. She also has eczema on her face and these mittens are very silky so when she rubs her face there is much less abrasion.
I love the fun patterns and how comfortable they are. It is very easy to uncover her hands and cover them back as needed.
The care instructions say not to use the dryer more than 15min but we accidentally left ours in and since they were fine we have been lazy and doing it ever since. They didn't shrink but they are not as silky as when they were new. I'd say the sizing is accurate/generous. We have a tall twelve-month old and the 12mos size has still room to grow, which is good.

This product works really well. My 5 month old boy used to wake up multiple times a night to scratch his face, so much he would sometimes bleed. Now, he can no longer scratch himself this badly, because the mittens are nice and soft (though he still rubs a little bit).
The sizes are a little small so I would recommend you buy one size up.

My 16month old has eczema on his scalp and scratches his head all night. Most mornings he would wake with little cuts all over his head and forehead. The Scratch Me Nots solved this problem. He doesn't mind wearing them, can still rub his head, but he doesn't cut himself anymore nor inflame the eczema. The silk is so soft it slides gently on his head. Highly recommend them. I bought a 2T for an average size 16mo and find that even though they aren't super snug, it fits him comfortably.
