My daughter was scratching all the time due to eczema and I'm so happy we have found this product. The flip mittens are perfect, I can flip them over to stop her when she starts scratching and easily flip them back so she can play. They have been a lifesaver for driving in the car, bedtime and even when I'm playing next to her, she can no longer scratch til she bleeds which has led to infection and skin damage. We have noticed such an improvement. I have recently ordered more as i was forever washing the one I had. She wears it as a shirt over a onesie and pair of pants it's all I put her in. I use them at night for sleeping alternating with her bamboo bubby sleep sack. We have the silk mittens and they have really increased her quality of life. Thank you for such a great product.

Love the concept, but since it's stretchy, it's made to be tighter fitting- too tight for my 8 month old's chubby arms. I ended up buying the cotton version, one size up, as it was a more comfortable fit, and easy to pull on over her long sleeve onesie.
I rated it 3 stars because I still think it's a good product, even if the fit wasn't right for my daughter.

Our little guy (14 months) has eczema on his face and scratches in his sleep. Between moisturizing all the time and putting socks on his hands for naps and bed time nothing really seemed to work. The ScratchMeNot has been awesome. He can't get it off and the soft satin eliminates his ability to scratch via friction. Happy to say that the flare ups are becoming fewer and fewer and we've finally found a product that gives any irritation time to heal!

Bought both classic and cotton SMNs and loved them to bits. Unlike the swaddle blanket which makes my baby's flare ups go worse, the SMN design keeps his skin cool while keeping those scratchy nails off his face and scalp. He still rubs but eventually stops and has better sleep and playtimes after 3 long months. Thank you for this big break in our battle with eczema.
The classic type is my favourite as it stretches more and fabric is more breathable. I'd suggest buying 1 size bigger for easy wear on baby.

We bought these for our then-5 mo son who has mild eczema, exacerbated when he rubs and scratches at his face when he is tired or sleepy. In the last 3.5 months that we've been using these, his flare-ups are much, much better controlled. The foldover cuffs are made of silk and are so soft; he still scratches his face when tired but it does not abrade his skin like before and his eczema doesn't flare up and make him even more uncomfortable like it used to. This, plus the calendula cream, have been our go-to tools to keep his eczema under control and even to the point where it mostly clears! The sleeve material is not too warm and not too cold, and stretchy, making it easier to dress him when he's flailing about. We sized up just to be on the safe side and make sure that these would have room to grow in, and it seems like they should fit for a few more months. Great product. We are indebted to this website and all the products and advice found on here!

We've been struggling to find something that will stay on my 6 month old during the day while he has severe eczema outbreaks. We've tried various gloves and socks, but he is easily able to get them off easily. These mittens have been perfect - they stay on all day and night.

We haven't been able to use this much yet. My son can get out of it pretty easy but I think if we use it while he is in his car seat then it should work well. We'll see.

bought this for my daughter suffering from eczema who scratches her face at times when we just can't stop her (driving in the car, at night) ... these are perfect! only note is that they size small (even when washing and air drying). i'd buy 6 months larger. headed online to purchase another one for backup!

My 7 month old has terrible eczema on his head and face. He scratches til he bleeds. We've been limping along with socks/mittens and some homemade satin sleeves before I found these. Wow, what an improvement! I love ScratchMeNots! They protect my baby's poor face from his scratching. Plus, they're both cute and well-made.
