This natural manuka honey cream is based on a traditional recipe and made in small batches by hand. Manuka Honey Skin Cream is a surprisingly soft and creamy oil based balm, rather than a true water based cream. Organic active Manuka honey, known for its amazing healing powers, is combined with organic tree nut-free oils and beeswax to create a gentle nourishing balm that's excellent for healing open wounds and soothing irritated eczema flare-ups.
Active Manuka honey is native to New Zealand and is created when bees pollinate the manuka bush, a relative of the tea tree. Manuka oil is extracted from the leaves of the manuka bush. Manuka oil is actually 10 times more potent than tea tree oil. Manuka and tea tree oil are praised world wide for their ability to naturally treat infections and reduce inflammation. Unlike the very medicinal odor of tea tree oil, manuka oil and honey have a lovely delicately sweet scent. What else makes Active Manuka honey so incredible? It contains 1,000 times more methylglyoxal than other forms of honey. Methylglyoxal is what gives honey it's anti-bacterial properties and which makes honey so beneficial for eczema. In fact, results from a 2012 study by The Ithree Institute, University of Technology in Syndey Australia state Manuka honey..."shows promise as a topical antibacterial agent and effective chronic wound dressing," and "treatment with manuka honey resulted in a significant decrease in the bacterial cell growth rate," with specifically good results at reducing Staphylococcus aureus, also know as MRSA. Another similar study can be found here.
We advise trying the balm only on a small patch of skin at first to make sure your child doesn’t react. Any natural product on the market could contain an ingredient that won’t agree with your child’s skin. It’s best to be cautious when first using a moisturizer. We learned that lesson the hard way.
Also, always read the full ingredient list for any known irritants or allergies.

I love the texture of the cream. Just by using a small amount and the skin is moisturized. Unfortunately, on day two of usage, my son's skin developped a rash. By looking at the list of ingredients, I couldn't understand why he had a rash but my son's skin is just too sensitive...

Love this cream for my grandson - he has had eczema for the past several years - your product does help him!

I have a mild case of rosacea the sub type 1 variety and dry skin. The dermatologist recommended I stop eating all grain products and pasteurized dairy products. I can not express enough the huge difference this made in my health and skin but I still need a good skin cream. I have been using coconut oil and seabuckthorn oil for several months but wanted another option. I most recently tried a bison tallow cream but it didn't sink into my skin. I was on the fence about buying another cream but this one has manuka honey and I liked the idea of the honey being incorporated into a cream instead of doing a manuka honey face mask I think it is more beneficial to the skin using a manuka skin cream ,this way the skin is getting a constant dose of manuka and not being washed off after a certain time. The consistency of the cream is great and it has the faint aroma of manuka which has a very distinctive smell, unlike the greasy eygptain magic which does not contain manuka honey and never seemed to sink into my skin. I highly recommend this cream and noticed the calming, moisturizing effect difference in my skin overnight.

This seems to have really cleared up my baby's face. It has been soooo red for so long..hydrocortisone wasn't working at all and it was really bothering me to keep rubbing on my baby's face. So I tried manuka honey again and his face is almost cleared.

I used the Manuka Honey Skin Cream last night for the first time on my hands and my son's eczema. We then both went to bed. This morning, we both feel so much better. Our skin is soft, not itchy. My son is so happy and I am so grateful. I am shocked by how quickly it works and how little is needed. A little goes a long way with this cream. I am so very happy and thankful. My son waking up in the morning and not being itchy is such a wonderful way to start the day! Thank you!!!

I waited to review this product to see how far it would go with my son's bad eczema on his legs. After using this product for almost a month, I can happily say that it is almost gone. The eczema my son has on his legs is very rough and scaly and even after using harsh cortisone from the doctor, which cleared it up only during the time it was being used returned immediately once we stopped. Cortisone is not recommended for long term use. But this cream is clearing up the eczema and it is something I can see using long term. I'm so happy that my son is also very open to the cream. We were using an expensive over the counter skin cream also recommended by the clinic we frequent and after each application he would cry. When we apply the Manuka cream, he doesn't cry at all.
I'm so happy to have found the Manuka cream and will be buying it regularly.

I really like the Manuka, I'd been using it for my hands and lips at night. It absorbs quickly and leaves a velvety feeling.

I've tried every natural and non natural cream out there for my two year olds eczema. I've spent hundreds of dollars to only use a small portion of each. Then I asked some questions on Jennifer's blog and sent her an email. She recommended this cream so I thought, why not try another. I LOVE it. I've gone through one whole tub and ordered two more. It goes on smooth and thick and gives a nice barrier. To be honest, it works nearly as good as steroids without the steroid. Just wish it weren't so expensive!

Smells nice and provides a nice barrier to keep moisture in on my 1yo daughter's skin. I especially like it in conjunction with the Calendulis cream, which clears up flare-ups, while the manuka honey cream keeps the skin soft. It's good for both winter and summer. It's thick, but spreads relatively easily. Glad to see it comes in a larger size now, since it can go quickly if used daily.

I recently wrote a review on how we only used this on our sons face initially because it was so gentle. It has completely cleared his face of eczema. we decided that we would use this on his entire body, we have being doing this for about 3 months now, and his eczema has calmed. His chest is cleared, back has cleared for the must part, arms go up and down, and his legs go up and down, but are defiantly his worse area. Mind you my son has the worse eczema my pediatrician has ever seen. So this cream makes his skin look great, and keeps the dry skin away. I highly recommend this product, I tell everyone about it! I wish that it was cheaper of course. Hope this helps the parents that struggle with eczema everyday!

I didn't really see a difference with applying manuka honey. I read amazing things about it, however it wasn't for my baby girl! Every child is different though...

This manuka honey cream is the best! After applying on my daughter's eczema (head to toe), her skin is nice and soft the next day. While it doesn't clear up her eczema it most definitely has helped us control it much more easily. Abit greasy but eventually absorbs in very well. I use this in conjunction with the Cream - Formula One and it works wonders to quickly calm her flare ups the next day. Highly recommend as an excellent moisturizer and prophylactic for eczema.

The manuka skin cream is so soft and gentle, I put in on my entire face. While it doesn't cure my eczema, it lessens the irritation and does heal other irritations on my face.

my daughter has been having some red dry spots around the corner of her mouth for months, the day we applied this cream on her, the redness went away! manuka honey is highly effective in healing broken skin.

I think the product itself is great. It feels nice and smells nice. It just doesn't clear my son's eczema. I just think my son's eczema requires more time to heal itself as his body's immune system improves. In the meantime, I continue to look for products that will give him temporary relief. I was hopeful of this product healing all the eczema based on the great reviews I read. Sometimes I think this manuka honey is working and other times, I think it's my wishful thinking. I put some on my older son though, (who also had similar severe eczema as an infant) and he declared that his own itchiness felt much better.

I spent three-and-a-half long years trying to find something to calm down my itchy, inflamed eyelid eczema. After trying everything from jojoba oil to Elizabeth Arden Fragrance-Free Eight-Hour Cream, I came across The Eczema Company website and ordered the Manuka Honey Skin Cream. It has worked so well for me and is all-natural and organic to boot. I love it! I even gave some to my brother, who also suffers from eyelid eczema.

We started using the Manuka Honey Cream on our baby about one week ago, and it has worked wonders on his skin. Thank you so much. I definitely wish a bigger size was available for purchase.

I asked The Eczema Company for a good cream for my 17 month old. He has it bad and this stuff has been working amazing! Most stuff I have tried works for a bit, but this cream is actually healing him. It is costly, but worth it!

I love this cream! I used it on my five year old with wet wrapping and it made his skin oh so smooth. I also use it on my eczema on my hands and it really hydrates. love, love, love it!
