This formula by Emily Skin Soothers is exceptionally calming for red, hot, angry skin that is obviously painful and is very soothing as a severe diaper rash treatment, but it's equally great healing any part of the body. It provides healing for topical bacteria, yeast and fungus commonly seen in eczema sufferers and babies with diaper rash, which is a form or dermatitis. Heals oozing, crusty dermatitis. The sunflower oil base makes it naturally high in vitamin E, so very nourishing for the skin. The beeswax acts as a barrier and has been used for its antiseptic and healing properties for thousands of years.

I've been trying out many many natural creams for my daughter's eczema and this one was just average for me. Her skin tolerated it well enough, but I didn't find that it was all that effective for her flare ups. Her skin would still be red, raised and itchy the next day although to a lesser extent. It works, but I prefer something with a more immediate effect. I will continue to use it, but more for her mild flare ups and dryness.

I am already noticing a difference in a few applications of the Emily Diaper Soother, which I put everywhere!

I have tried a ton of lotions and creams for my 10 month old baby's eczema. I have over 30 different containers of things that have not helped. In the past 10 months Charley's skin has been so bad that we even had to be hospitalized because she scratched so much that the eczema got infected with opportunistic yeast/staph. After finding The Eczema Company we have completely 100% stopped using all steroid creams. We now use two all natural lotions and this is one!! Emily's Diaper Soother (on both her diaper area and also anywhere her eczema occurs)works amazing!!! A nightly ritual of this cream will heal the skin and smells awesome!!
